START LOCATION: Bearwallow Gap
FINISH LOCATION: Cove Mtn Shelter

TRIP MILEAGE: 744.0
MILES TO GO: 1,435.1
This weekend gave me a much needed rest and recharge from the
hike. My body responded pretty well today, but with only 3.3 miles to
the Cove and a long sleep planned tonight, tomorrow will be a better
indication of how my body will react to the time off.
It threatened rain all during my short hike, but it didn't hit until
after we were in shelter. That was a nice bonus. Starting a stretch
soaking wet is not fun.
Meeting some cool new hikers tonight. I'm absolutely exhausted
however, so I'm sensing that i'm not too sociable. I'll be back with a
good rest.
