Not sure what happened, but I lost this entire blog post I'd intended to send before I did it. So, here's the abbreviated version...
Crossed over Sugarloaf, South and North Crocker Mountains with the intention of camping somewhere close to the road near Stratton. However, a serious case of dried up water sources forced me into town as night was falling. There were moose scurrying through the woods all over the place as I approached the road. I even chilled with one about 20 yds away as my thumb was summoning a ride.
Stayed at the White Wolf Inn and plan to head out tomorrow and log some miles before the nasty forecast slows me down.
