The first stop this morning was the 3C's Restaurant. Devo, Smokestack
and I got big plates of breakfast heaven. A bunch of other hikers
rolled in that had stayed at the Port Clinton Hotel.
As Smoke and I were leaving we decided to hit up Port Clinton's main
drag. That was were our hiking would be cut short. The Port Clinton
Hotel bar was just opening up at 11AM. We were the first customers.
Thru hiker after thru hiker started rolling in and one soccer game led
to another.
5 1/2 hours later we started our hike. It was an up and down roller
into the Windsor Furnace. Most of the crowd from the PCH scene stayed
here, so the party just moved to the trail. Good times.
We'll be getting serious tomorrow... Some big pushes here to get to
Palmerton, PA, our next stop on the east coast tour.
