rain the entire 540 miles from Baytown, TX to Crestview, FL.
The highlight of the day was the po'boys and shrimp & corn chowder at
George's... a little dive joint in Baton Rouge. The place was
literally right beneath I-10. It was fantastic.
We made good time given the weather and decided to push way past
Pensacola and another 45 minutes deeper in the panhandle. We're glad
we made the move because we can meander our way through Florida &
Georgia before our 4 day visit to the Mcneills and Johnstons in
Bluffton, SC.
The days are really blending together now... Over dinner, dad raised a
toast to our Day 3 progress and I had to remind him we'd been out 4.
Classic.
