We made it. Left Bluffton, SC this morning at 6:30AM, drove 1,020 miles, arrived in Peabody at 2:45 AM and finally getting to bed. The pic is the snow we saw on the ground in southern Virginia. We saw much more.
Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes and hospitality of friends and family over the last 10 days. The trip went very smooth and so glad we're home safe! Merry Xmas kids.
Now I can finally begin planning this hike.
