Awesome weekend with the McNeills at the cabin near Marion, NC.
Watched Phineas and Ferb, Spongebob, took the boat out, lots of
mimosas, built a puzzle... Didn't finish it though... We'll blame the
drinks.
My pack is super heavy after grocery shopping hungry and getting some
sweet treats delivered to me from some very special friends and
family. Thanks again everyone! I'll be eating fat and happy on my 68
mile trek to Erwin, TN.
Gradual 2,000' ascent up to Spring Mountain today. It'll be
interesting how the nice weather and the 3 days rest will play out on
the trail this afternoon. Bummed to leave the cousins, but excited to
hit the trail again and meet some new thru-hikers.
